Idiom
In 1980s, Iraq attacked Iran. It try to riched more place and killed thousands and thousands people.When the president of Iraq ordered starting attack, many people were sleeping. Absolutely they were in the middle of putting out fires. It was a serious crisis. The government of Iran was going to had to postpone all program and started to help people urgently. But the soldiers were shorthanded. Many people were willing and knew that they were committed against their homeland.

How did my partner spend his March Break?
One of my partner in LINC is Amir. We had discussion about "Report about how partner spent March Break" today. Now I try to write Amir's report.
Amir has good and close friends in Canada. They help and accompany him on every task and everywhere because Amir has come here only for two months. He spent more his time with them and took two trip in March Break.
At the first his trip he and his friends went One city. On this city is a big outlet with famous and popular brands. Most of Iranian and some other cultures celebrate the first day of spring that is named "Norouz" and they are ready with new clothes and other new stuff. Amir and his family went there for buying and shopping and ready for Norouz.
21 March is Norouz. Amir and his family took the second their trip on this day to Burlington. This city is between Toronto and Niagara, beside Lake Ontario and he has a friend there. He and other his friends gathered together and celebrated this day with eating cookies and delicious food, singing, and dancing. Then he returned to Toronto.
I think the best thing for a new comer is traveling and knowing new areas, new people and new cultures. These are amazing and wonderful for every one. So Amir spent and used his time in a best way.
