IEP Conference

In the morning Friday, 27th February my wife and I went to downtown by subway for participate in IEP conference. We left home at 7 am and went to subway station.We had to take two subway. In downtown we lost but one person guided us. After one hour we found Metro Toronto building and received there.

At first we got ID-Card and a bag. In the bag was a pen, note papers, a chocolate and papers that introduced programs in the conference. Then programs was started on a basic room. Two young man set and song a tradition music. Next, the mayor of Toronto spoke about new immigrant and immigration. One of the best programs was speech of a famous man: Frank O'Dea who is a rich and successful man but before he has been a homeless. He spoke about the ways of successfully and his experiences. He indicated finest self-confidence and self-esteem. Then we have two sandwich and soft drink for lunch. After lunch we came back to room. Some specialized men were there and they answered our questions of jobs, experience, rules of jobs and business cultures. At the end everyone wrote his/her opinion of conference and gave to presenters.
I think this conference was very useful, practical and effectiveness. I learned how do apply for a job, how do connect to networking, how do use of skills and opportunities, and the most significant we met new people and knew them.
